Before I was creating party decorations and positivity, I was flexing my creative muscle by doing DIY projects for all my besties who were getting married. So I wanted to share a DIY Bride Gift for all you crafty bridesmaids out there, so you can re-create it!

Wedding Season is the Best!
One of my favorite things about my high school friends getting married – aside from the free booze and the fact that we all get to be together again – is that we have the BEST tradition that I can’t wait to tell you about!
On my wedding day, my friend Nicole got me this adorable BRIDE bag. My bridesmaids filled it with tons of goodies for my honeymoon! (Sunscreen, panties, bathing suits, pain killers, magazines and so much more! Here I am in Jamaica ‘feeling hot hot hot’ with my shiny bag…
Also, I’ve included some bride bags below if you want to create this for one of your besties!
I love it because I literally took the bag everywhere at my honeymoon resort! So, when my friend Hope got married a month later I had an idea! What if we passed the bag along from bride to bride so we could create a sort of sisterhood of the traveling pants kind of deal?! And so we did!
The bride bag has now been passed from my wedding…
To beautiful Hopie’s wedding!
To this GORG bride, Shannon’s wedding…
And then it was Amy’s turn…
Below are some great ideas to add to your Bride bag that I found on Amazon! You could also create something similar for your bridesmaids or for the bachelorette party!
For Amy’s wedding, I wanted to add something to the bag and share it with all of you. So that brings me to my favorite part…
DIY Bride Gift : DIY Panty Surprise
First, all of the girls pitched in on the cutest undies we could find and I tied them all to a long ribbon.
Second, I grabbed a box and cut a hole in it with my crafting knife.
Third, I stuffed all the panties into the box. There were a lot! You’re welcome Steph! (Amy’s then-new hubby!)
Lastly, I wrapped the box up with some cute paper and made a little incision for the ribbon to poke out.
And then I added a little “pull” tab so they would all come out in a long strand! I couldn’t wait to see her open it!
It was so fun to watch Amy unwrap the bag and go through all the fun gifts! Here she is opening the box!
How cute is she?
It is so fun to relive this whole experience and I hope you enjoyed it too 😉
