Uplifting Motivational Personal Development Quotes: A Work in Progress

Anyone who says they’re done growing is sadly mistaken. Why? Because here’s another quote. “If you aren’t growing your dying.” And while it’s a good idea to always keep an open mind and know that there’s always more to learn, it’s okay that you don’t know it ALL. No one likes a know-it-all anyway! Just ask Bethany Frenkel. 😉 (Any housewives fans in the house?!) That, my friends, is the true definition of personal development – having a growth mindset and knowing that you can always learn more, but also knowing that you are exactly where you need to be in order to learn the lessons you were brought here to endure! Below is some additional reading you can do to continue being a work in progress and growing every single day.

I am a work in progress

You Can’t Change the Past, But You Can Change Your Future

Along the same lines in having a growth mindset is knowing that we can achieve anything, no matter our past. C.S. Lewis had it right it this quote, “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” We don’t need to change the past in order to have a great future. My mentor said that anything is possible 100% of the time. And I truly believe this. When we live from this place, life gets more exciting. The unknown stops being scary and starts getting juicy! What do you think?

Start changing your future now by using I AM statements. Find out How I AM statements work here.

Uplifting Motivational Personal Development Quotes to Encourage “Putting in the Work”

When someone says they “put in the work” on personal development, what does that really mean? Well, I’ll tell you it does not mean saying “I’m good. I don’t need mindset work”. Because, as we just talked about, we are always works in progress. Putting in the work means getting our thoughts out of our heads so that they aren’t on autopilot. As you may know, your subconscious mind automates about 95% of your thoughts. So, if you think you’re doing a good job at removing your limiting beliefs by not doing any work, you’d be wrong.

I put in the work so I could love myself more.It was worth every second

So, what’s the best way to put in the work? You might know that I am big on gratitude journaling. In fact, you might have read about How to Manifest Using your Gratitude Journal. It’s a great way to get your thoughts out of your head and down onto paper, so you can start making real change in your life. Below are a few other blogs you might be interested in reading that might help you “do the work.”

Making Change For the Better

What’s the definition of insanity again? That’s right. It’s doing things the same way and expecting change. But isn’t it funny how we SO expect this in our lives. We think that if we just continue going about our 9-5 jobs and don’t take action on intuitive actions toward our goals that something will just come into our lives and change it! Someone will just walk in and everything will be different. Typically not. We need to do the work to be more aligned and more courageous to take actions on our goals to make real change happen.

You can't keep doing the same exact things and hoping things change

That said, once you start doing the work, you begin to see new opportunities. You see the world differently. And it all starts when you decide it’s time. Below are a few blogs that might help you when you decide it’s time.
