I loved Psychology growing up, which is probably why I got one of my degrees in it. My ultimate favorite class was sociology, the study of human behavior. Why do we act like we do? How do other people influence what we do? It is truly fascinating to me, and likely to you as well, since you’re reading this. However, as much as I loved those classes, they never seemed to address how to make CHANGE! Amiright?
Psychology seemed to be focused on the study of the brain, but not so much about how to use that to our advantage. It was more like, here’s this person who noticed our brains did this and that. Or, here’s how your brain impacts the things you do in life. My question was, how can we use that knowledge to instead, influece our life in a positive and wonderful way. Psychology just didn’t seem to address that.
How Do The Powers of the Mind Influence Personal Development?
Psychology seemed to focus on what is wrong with people. Alternatively, what I found about the personal development community was changing the focus to what is right with you! Instead of focusing on why the brain makes us do things, we need to ask better questions. For example, How Do The Powers of the Mind Influence Personal Development so that we can make change for the better!?
What I learned in personal development is that your mind is the most powerful thing that absolutely shapes everything in your life. It can influence your relationships, your career success, and even how much money you make. And that’s why it’s of utmost importance to train your brain and use the power of your mind to influence your reality. Dr. Joe Dispenza always says, your personality is your personal reality. Therefore, if you can use the power of your mind to influence your personal development, you will reshape your personality, and therefore change your reality.
Our Subconscious Mind Is The Key To Personal Development
People think they are powerless to make change in their lives. What they don’t understand is how their subconscious mind works. In my Free masterclass, The Four Secrets to Living a High Vibe Life, I talk about how we can take back our power by systematically altering our subconscious mind. The reason for this is that our subconscious mind is running our life. It’s responsible for 95% of the thoughts we think, which then effect the decisions that we make and the results we get in our lives. When we can start to focus on our thoughts and using the correct techniques to change them, we can then start to shape our life in a way we want, instead of just playing victim to our brain and saying, “well that’s just how the mind works. Oh well”.
Most people sit around waiting for something to change in their lives so that they can be happier and live more fulfilled lives. It’s time to take control of the power of your mind so that you can actually make lasting change!
