Are you waiting until the last minute to buy all your Christmas gifts just like me?! I don’t know why, but every year I do it. No worries though, I’ve got a bunch of easy DIY Christmas Gifts in jars that will be easy and fun!
Why do we procrastinate so much?! Well, it’s probably because there’s always those people on your list that you have no idea what to get them, so you just keep putting it off and putting it off, hoping that some email comes into your inbox boasting some crazy amazing sale on THE perfect item for the person on your list – but it never does.
And the older you get, the more people you add to your list, amiright?! Just the other day I was in Target, and there was a card that was for your mailman, and the category said, “Money Holder Card”. Umm? My mail literally doesn’t come until 9 PM most nights and sometimes it isn’t delivered at all. So I’m gonna take a hard pass on that one. Sorry, not sorry.
But I have some easy DIY gift ideas for those people on your list that you actually want to buy gifts for, but never know what to get them! You know, the teachers, the daycare providers, the baby sitters, your hair stylist, your friends mom who is the best, your nanny, your personal trainer, and so on.
So below, I’ve included SO many ideas and the printables to get you started with your easy DIY Christmas gifts! And the best part is, I’ve included some links to some truly amazing deals, so you can shop a little for yourself while you find gifts for others, because hey! You deserve it girl!
Getting Started with Your Easy DIY Christmas Gifts
Firstly, before you even get started picking out the stuff to go in the jar, you have to pick out the jar! I lucked out and found these adorable jars at Ross – literally my favorite place of all time! And I just LOVE THEM! But you could use any old mason jar from Micheals or Hobby Lobby, or pick a few decorative jars up like I did at a Home Goods, Ross, or Marshalls!
I’ve included some jars I found on Amazon that would be too cute for this, but you can check out all my recommendations from this blog on my Amazon shop.
So now the real fun begins! Bring on the gifts!
Easy DIY Christmas Gifts: Bar in a Jar
Secondly, this might just be my favorite of all the Easy DIY Christmas Gifts! The bar in a jar idea is SO fun and easy for so many people on your list! For this particular one, I found these Corona items on sale at Ross! It was a steal! And I know my beer-loving father in law is going to absolutely love it! You can get the labels in my Etsy shop and below:
What I love most about this idea is there are so many ways you can use this label for different people in your life, depending on their taste in alcohol.
What I originally wanted to do was to put some small bottles of alcohol and mixers into a smaller jar, but I honestly just never found time to go to the liquor store! So, you can imagine my surprise when I found some great stuff for this gift idea on Amazon!
Below are little gift sets that are all Prime that you can put into your Bar in a Jar, along with a small bottle of alcohol to go with it! I would also suggest some cute bar wear or shot glasses! Visit my Amazon shop to see all the suggestions.
Easy DIY Christmas Gifts: Jars for the Baker or Sweet-Lover on Your List
This next idea is the perfect gift for anyone in your life that loves to bake!
Just add a bunch of baking items to your jar and you are good to go!
Another great idea is to fill the jar with ingredients for a cookie or cake recipe and then just stick on this, “We Whisk You a Merry Christmas” label. Voila! You can get this label in two colors on my Etsy shop with direct links below:
I found all the items for this Baker’s Jar at Ross (again, my fav place), but you could easily order a few items on Amazon – and like I’ve said before, if you don’t have Prime, sign up now because it literally pays for itself. Here are some items I found that would be so cute inside this jar!
