Organization is my jam. Can you relate? And because I already told you how I organize my craft room and office closet, I want to tell you how I’ve expanded on it. You see, as a party decorations designer, I have a LOT of gift bags, tissue paper, wrapping paper, gift boxes and ribbon. So today I’m sharing with you my Gift Wrapping Supplies Organization and Storage ideas. I hope it helps you to get organized!

Gift Wrapping Supplies Organization and Storage
I’ll be totally honest with you. The way that I store and organize my gift wrapping essentials changes yearly. Maybe even quarterly? That’s just because I find new and innovative ways to make my life easier with different storage ideas. Don’t worry, I’ll keep you up to date with any new ideas I come up with moving forward, I promise!
In the meantime, here’s what I have going on in terms of Gift Wrapping Supplies Organization and Storage right this second.
Tissue Paper and Gift Boxes Storage
Tissue paper is a must in your gift wrapping repertoire. And I love to be a bit more sustainable and save money by saving and re-using my tissue paper. I know, maybe that’s cheap. But, I say, why not reuse stuff? Especially if it still looks nice! And the way you can keep your tissue paper looking nice is by storing it inside of the gift boxes themselves! I organized my tissue paper in these large white gift boxes. Just fold them and place them nicely in the boxes. I also put all my large and small gift boxes inside.
And if you’re looking for labels, I actually made these ones myself! It is super easy. I just used a Word Document to create the text and printed them on the full sheet sticker paper I recommend for party decorations and other projects. You can find all the other products I recommend for party decorating and crafting here.
I also love to have these white storage cube bins and other white boxes available for other things I need for gifting. For example, the white box on the right has little last minute gifts I can gift to people. You know, things like candles, lip balm, Burt’s Bees gift sets. Things like that!
Gift Bag Storage and Organization
Next is how I store my gift bags. Once again these white storage cube bins are perfect for this task. And the good thing about these storage bins is that they are sold in a pack so you will have more than enough for your gift bags and a ton left over for organizing around your house!
And if you’re asking, what do I with all those EXTRA large gift bags? Here’s an idea that works for me! Hang them from a hanger in your closet! (This reminds me of that meme that says, “You know you’re a mom when you store your gift bags in other gift bags!” Ha! So true.
Wrapping Paper Organization
Next up is my pride and joy – how I organize my wrapping paper! This has kind of been a doozy for a lot of years. I end up just throwing away so much wrapping paper because it gets all crinkled and wrinkled! Not anymore! I had a brilliant idea to purchase this yoga mat storage wrack for my wrapping paper storage. I had my husband help put it up (because that’s not my forte!). And it works brilliantly for a wrapping paper organizer, don’t you think?
I like how the very bottom of the Yoga Mat/Wrapping paper holder it has hooks. I chose to hang all my wine bags there because those tend to be wonky and don’t quite fit in those storage bins I mentioned earlier.
And that’s what I have for you! I hope it’s helpful when you’re cleaning up after Christmas, or just doing some spring cleaning. It’s so nice to get organized! And the number one way to do that is to make sure you have a place for everything! Lastly, if you’re looking for ways to store your ribbon, make sure to read about my Office and Craft Room Closet Organization.
And while you’re add it, you might want to add these birthday tags to your gift wrapping stash! And check out all of my other tags and party supplies in my Etsy shop.
