When I started searching for office and craft room closet organization, I wasn’t finding what I want. That’s because all the other craft rooms and offices had everything….right there. In your face. Do you know what I’m saying? It’s like, I do love craft rooms that are colorful and all. However, I’m the kind of girl that likes to keep things tucked away. For example, the below craft rooms gorgeous in their own right….
But my main problem with these gorgeous craft rooms and offices was that it was all….RIGHT there. ALL the time. In you face! And that’s just not my style. Can you relate? So I went in search of White Office & Craft Room Closet Organization solutions that were a bit more toned down, and well ALL WHITE.
First, I should tell you before I get started that that my office and craft room closet organizational needs were quite unique. I was trying to store and organize things for my crafting business, my personal crafting storage, and office odds and ends that need to be organized. So given that, you will find some organizing solutions for each of those unique needs.
Drawers for Your White Office & Craft Room Closet Organization
So, first let’s talk staple furniture pieces for your closet storage . Depending on how big your closet is in your craft room or office, that will depend on which one of these storage items will work for you. Here’s what I used.

First I have two of these white storage drawer units. The ones I have are actually the Alex Drawers from Ikea, but the Amazon ones are just as good and come straight to your door more quickly than Ikea. I took one set of wheels off of one of the drawer sets so that I could stack them. These drawers make for amazing craft and office storage!
The depth of these drawers are perfect for all my craft supplies for personal and business! Just check out how wonderfully my ribbon drawer and cutting device drawer came out using these drawers and a few clear drawer organizers.

More Organizing Details for my Craft Room Closet
On top of the drawers, I keep my Westcott Paper Cutter that does a great job cutting all my party decorations and other crafts. I feel like it’s kind of an eyesore, so having it out of the way and in the closet is great. I also have this small white desktop drawer organizer where I keep some finished party decorations. It’s really small, but works well for what the items I like to keep in it. It could be great on your desktop as well to keep pens and small office items.

You might also have noticed that I like to add little tiny labels to my white storage boxes so I know exactly what’s inside without having to open them! I just recently got this pink label maker. It’s really cute and makes the cutest little labels, and has an app you can download. Honestly, I do like it for little labels like this, but if you were moving and wanted to label your moving boxes, I don’t think they would make big enough labels. It’s good for small projects like these small storage boxes that I got from Ikea.

Next, on the other side of the closet, I have this white cube bookshelf and a set of clear bins for extra storage. I LOVE cube storage, don’t you? And I love how this turned out. I have a ton of party decorations photoshoot props in the white storage boxes.

My favorite part are these magazine holders! Why? Because you can HIDE all your ugly odds and ends inside! Books, papers, etc. Just put them all in there and they look so organized and clean!

Small Business Office Organization
If you have a small business, you have unique needs. For me, that means that I have to store shipping boxes, bubble envelopes, shipping boards and clear bags, and lots of other little random crafting items I have accumulated from different parties I have worked on.

First, I needed a place to store my bubble envelopes I use to ship my customers their custom party boxes! These Triangle Desktop Magazine File Holders were SO perfect for the job. Before I had these they were in boxes and not easily accessible, or falling out all over the place! I love how it looks (for once!)
Craft Storage

If you’ve read about my Cricut Paper Organizer, then you know I have a lot of craft supplies and am always looking for new ways to organize it. One of my unique crafting needs was a place to put all those little odds and ends, like bells, tiny stickers, sewing needles and yarn, little beads, and on and on. When I was little, my mom had this sewing and button organizer in our laundry room and I was like, “I need THAT!” That’s why I was MORE THAN pleasantly surprised to find this Rotating Carousel Craft Organizer that is not only perfect for the job, but it matches my white theme!
I hope this was helpful to you as you plan and organize your office or craft room! We JUST moved and I am in the process of redecorating my all-white office and adding some pink touches! I can’t wait to show you, so make sure to stay tuned for that!
