When Should You Invest in a Course To Sell Printables?
Have you recently come across an online course that teaches you how to design and sell printables on Etsy or somewhere else on the interwebs? If so, you might be contemplating it and wondering, “Should I do it?” Before I rush to a hard YES or NO, let’s talk about why you’re asking the question in the first place.
Well, if you’re contemplating taking a course, that means that you want to have some kind of transformation. You want to go from someone who doesn’t know how to make and sell printables on Etsy (or elsewhere), to someone who does. And that is the perfect time to take an online course.
Why You Wouldn’t want to Invest in a Course to Sell Printables
But there’s probably some hesitations coming up for you about why you wouldn’t want to buy an online course to sell printables. The first one is that you could just DIY your way into a printables business and figure it out on your own. You could definitely do that. It’s what I did. But wouldn’t it be easier to have a mentor help walk you through it more quickly and efficiently? I say yes.
Another reason you might not want to invest in an online course to learn how to sell printables is because you might not take the steps that the course tells you to do. It might sit unwatched and unused. That is a huge thing that happens in the online course world. So many courses go unwatched. (And I hope that won’t be something that you do!) But as my mentor says (who I bought a course from), the transformation is in the transaction. Meaning, that if you plan to watch free videos, many times you don’t take it seriously. You don’t make the actual transformation to a printables seller. By investing in yourself, it tells the universe you’re serious and you’re ready to make this a real thing!
Investment in Yourself is the Best Investment
Speaking of investing in yourself, another fear that might be holding you back is that it will be a waste of money to buy a course about selling printables online.
As a person who’s bought quite a few online courses in my time, I’ll tell you that taking courses and investing in myself has been the best thing I have ever done! Sure, I could have figured out a lot of stuff on my own, but honestly, there’s a lot I couldn’t have figured out either.
People invest thousands of dollars into getting a college degree where you have to take a bunch of classes you aren’t even interested in! Whereas an online course is one subject that you’re excited and passionate about. Why not spend the money (which is probably MUCH less than college) on something that interests and excites you?
Investing in yourself and continuing to grow and learn is so important. Weather or not you do that through an online course or by just watching free videos online is totally up to you. But I do encourage you to keep learning and keep growing so that you can learn to do all the things you want in life!

As someone who sells both printables and an course called The Abundant Girls’ Guide to Passive Income With Printables on Etsy, I might be a bit biased 😉 But, like I said, I have bought many courses throughout my time as an entreprenerd and there was only one of them that I regretted. And guess what! That one had a refund policy (as most online courses do!). And I got my money back. So, I say go for it girl! You have nothing to lose but a booming printables business!
