Have you ever worked with a seller on Etsy versus a seller on another site? Etsy sellers always seems to provide amazing customer service. Maybe it’s that star seller program? And aside from a recent customer who sent me a middle finger and a poop emoji, (yes, this really did happen to me) for the most part, Etsy has equally amazing customers! Because Etsy has built a pool of handmade products and hard-working sellers, it’s created a unique community that people want to shop with over and over again.
In my Etsy shop, for instance, I have worked with customers to create a custom digital party for them in the past. And some of my favorite customers come back every year for me to create new designs for their child turning another year older. It is so much fun to not only do the designs, but also to see the kids grow! I know that if I were just selling on my website, or another site, I wouldn’t have the same community of buyers.
