And if you’re like me, the first time you did a Cricut print and cut project, the colors turned out dull or faded. If that’s the case, I have good news for you. Using Heavy Cardstock Paper for Cricut Print and Cut Craft Projects

Let me guess, you’re someone who wants to design and print thick invitations and then cut them with your Cricut machine? Or maybe you’re just doing a project that calls for heavy cardstock paper.
Here’s the deal. I hate to break it to you, but most printers don’t print on heavy paper. Believe me, I know! And, if you’re like me, you purchased some beautiful heavyweight cardstock paper for your Cricut projects. Then you get it home and realize that it won’t feed through your damn printer. Isn’t it the worst?
The Best Printer for Cricut Print and Cut Craft Projects
Because you might want to print on heavy cardstock paper for your print and cut Cricut projects, what you need is a a good heavy cardstock printer. As mentioned, your everyday typical printers can’t handle heavy cardstock paper. I’d say that your average HP Printer can only print on paper that weights a maximum of about 72 lbs.
After doing a LOT of research, I finally found the Canon Pixma Pro-100. I believe it’s The Best Printer for Cricut Print and Cut Craft Projects because it can print on up to 110 LLB cardstock paper. That paper weight is a very heavy weight paper and would be great for your Cricut projects! I personally own this printer and use for all my Cricut Print and Cut Craft Projects. Therefore, I know you are going to love it as much as I have.
