When You First Start Your Etsy Printables Shop
When you first open your Etsy printables shop, you’re looking for “all the things” to make your shop successful. Am I right? For example, you may have looked into Etsy ads or other tools that all the Etsy coaches are touting on Instagram and everywhere else.
With all the things that everyone’s saying, it can be hard to know what the right thing is to do.
Keyword Research for Etsy Printables
One of the many things that people are always talking about is doing keyword research to find out what’s trending on Etsy. Etsy coaches recommend looking for trends and taking advantage of what everyone is currently searching for.
Here’s the problem with that. By the time you find out that “printable Christmas games” are trending, it’s going to be too late my friend. Trends are always changing right?
What’s More Important Than Keyword Research for Etsy Printables
Okay, so you might be thinking, well then, what should I do to figure out what to sell on Etsy in terms of printables? Firstly, I recommend you take my Free Nail Your Printables Niche Training to find out what printables are right for you.
From there, that’s when you can search on the keywords that you’re already excited and thinking about. Don’t just sell things just because everyone else is selling them! Find out what you want to do first, what you’re passionate about, and what you’re excited about creating, and THEN find out what’s trending related to that topic.
In my signature program, I do go into what keyword research can help you find the keywords that might help you create printables that are in high demand on Etsy. However, you can also look at places like Google Trends to help you out with that.
But here’s the thing, if you only focus on the hottest selling printables on Etsy right now, you’re going to get burnt out…quick! Make sure you’re passions are fueling you first and foremost!
