Okay so you’ve heard your heart’s calling and you love the idea of selling printables. But you’ve yet to make the commitment. You haven’t started, and you think the new year might be the perfect time to start. I agree with you my friend. This is your time. It’s your moment to get out your gratitude journal and start writing down your big ideas for your printables business this coming year. It’s time to… set goals 😬!
It’s not About your Goals, It’s About Intention
Did the idea of “goal setting” send chills down your spine? Does it make you want to just put away your gratitude journal and crawl under the covers? I know how that can feel. Goal setting is a whole thing! And it was never typically something I loved doing, to be honest. The truth is, we don’t love to set goals because if we don’t achieve them by the end of the year, then we get kind of depressed and anxious. Right?
But I believe the key to getting over this whole idea of goal setting – especially when you’re first starting out – is to completely flip it on it’s head. Instead, focus on your intention.
Set Your Intention to Start Your Printables Business
When you lack intention, then you are missing a piece of the puzzle! When you combine desire with intention, you find the missing piece! Notice how when you go from “wanting” something to “intending” something to happen, it feels different? For example, do you WANT to start a printables business, or do you INTEND to do it? Notice how when you intend to do it, it means you have to start taking action!
So today I want you to set your intention to DECIDE to start your printables business in the new year.
When You Finally Decide to Start a Printables Business
When you finally make the intention to start, you make a decision. And do you know what happens when you do that? Energy starts to shift in your life. You start to see opportunities and possibilities around your intentions, desires, and goals. The Universe starts conspiring to help you complete your goal. For example, you’re here reading this right? It just so happens that I teach people to sell printables on Etsy. Coincidence? I think not.
