It can be so much cheaper to print your own posters for events and interior decorating then it would be to buy them framed at a store. However! You might feel a little intimidated or wonder where and how you might go about printing posters after you have purchased them online.

As much as I love printing at home, and you can read all about the best printer for party decorations, there are just some prints that are too large to print at home. That’s where online printers come into play. Just upload your digital file in the size that you want printed, and voila! You have a poster shipped to your door. So let’s find out where I always recommend my clients get their posters printed.
Print Posters with Walgreens
Walgreens is my all time favorite secret weapon and I would say it’s the Best Online Printers for Posters! Both for home decor, and for party posters! Walgreens has two options in terms of printing your posters. First, you can upload it online at home and have it shipped to you. Easy peazy. OR, you can literally pick it up at your local Walgreens in an hour! Once you upload your file, you select your local store and select your pick up time. It’s that easy! I love this option because, how many times do you decide to redecorate a room and want it done… UM NOW! Or, you forgot to print your poster for your party, and it’s tomorrow! No worries! Walgreens has you covered for fast processing!
Aide from it’s swift photo processing time, the other thing I love about Walgreens is that it always has coupons on their site for photo related items! If it is a half off coupon or a two for one, there is literally almost always one available! (Just Google it!)
If all that isn’t enough, I think this will push you over the edge. You can order a regular Poster that you can frame, which is great for home decor or parties. OR, you can have your poster mounted on Posterboard in the following sizes, 11×14, 12×18, 16×20, 20×30, 24×36. This is super awesome because if you don’t want to have to frame your poster for a party at a park or another outdoor location, having it mounted on a poster board is easy and looks nice! Moreover, they can print on a foam bored as well and have multiple finishes like a gloss or a matte look.
To top it off, if you want to create a yard sign or a large vinyl banner (sometimes called a step and repeat!) Prints of Love is another amazing option! Just look at this vinyl banner we had for my daughter’s Balle-THREE-na party! It turned out so cute!
Another Poster Printing Service: Canva
Last, but certainly not least is Canva. You may have heard of Canva if you have a small business or work for a company to design social media posts. Or maybe you’ve used them to design newsletters, presentations, and more. However, did you know you can also design and print posters and large prints using the platform? I didn’t either! But when I found out, I was excited. I feel like Canva is pretty user friendly. That gets me excited about the idea of designing and printing invitations through their site.
The only thing I will mention is to NOT use the Canva app on your phone. If you do, you may just faint with exhaustion and frustration. Definitely do your uploading from a computer for this particular platform. You won’t regret it.
Displaying your Poster at your Party
If you were printing a large poster for a party, which obviously I think is amazing! There are a few great ideas to display your large posters and signs at your party. One of them is to purchase an easel, chalkboard, or stand. Below are a few ways that my clients have done it, and some links to a few ideas I found on Amazon.
If you purchase an easel or chalkboard, you can tape the poster to the board, and then use the chalkboard again for a future party! It’s a great money saving option!
