Do you sell products on Etsy or are looking to get started? I’ve been an Etsy seller for quite a while now, first selling handmade party decorations, and later transitioning to creating and selling printables on Etsy. As an Etsy coach, people are always coming to me to find out how to start their Etsy shop and how to grow on Etsy if they already have an established shop. And sure, we could go into some tactical strategies and step-by-step tutorials on how to do that, but what’s most important? Your habits. Your habits are going to be the key to creating consistent growth in your Etsy business. So here are theHabits of A Successful Etsy Printables Seller.

Why Are Habits Important for Building an Etsy Shop?
I take habits extremely seriously. And I think you should too. Why? Because habits give you what you want in life. And specifically because I teach women how to sell printables on Etsy, these habits are going to help you start a printables business on Etsy, and grow it so that you can create more freedom in your life through passive income.
We all have habits. But many times, the habits we have aren’t serving us toward what we actually want in our lives. And I don’t know about you, but when I’m thinking about starting my own business and selling things on Etsy, it’s because I don’t want to be told what to do by a boss that I hate. I want to do MORE of what I LOVE to do, and LESS of what I don’t like doing in a job! Do you agree? So our habits are going to give us that freedom to create an opportunity to do these things. So these habits that I want to share with you are the exact habits I have adopted to get me where I am today in my business.
Habit #1: Decide – Habits of A Successful Etsy Printables Seller
The very first habit that I think any business owner needs to adopt is the power of decision. If you haven’t actually decided to start your Etsy shop and you’re on the fence, you need to make a decision. Are you going to start or not? Are you going to take the steps you need to grow and scale your Etsy shop?
Some of the top authors in the personal development field talk about how indecisiveness prevents us from reaching our goals. And that’s because when we are on the fence about something, we are procrastinating about making a decision to do something or not.
If we sit on the fence, we don’t have to make a decision. And a lot of us like to stay in this place for a LONG time. We have to remove this habit of indecision and get into the habit of deciding. Once we do that, we are going to be so much closer to reaching our goals.
Habit #2: Gratitude
Is it even one of my blogs if we’re not talking about gratitude? NOPE! And that’s because I’m the ultimate gratitude pusher. I push gratitude on people because it changed my life.
If you aren’t practicing gratitude you are NEVER going to reach your biggest goals and your dreams. How can the universe bring us what we want, if we are not already grateful for what we already have?
And there is an exact science behind this.
So establishing some kind of gratitude practice into your business is going to be imperative. And you’ll be excited about what else the habit of gratitude will help you do in your life as well.
Habits of A Successful Etsy Printables Seller – Habit #3: Fueling Your Brain (The right way)
Becoming successful on Etsy means that you never stop learning and growing. After all, if you aren’t growing, you’re dying. For example, when I was first starting out, I was obsessed with anything that could help me start and grow on Etsy. I was always listening to new podcasts and books. And guess what! I still do! Therefore, as an entrepreneur, I make it a daily priority to fuel my brain with information that’s going to help me grow. And I know that any successful entrepreneur has this growth mindset and makes learning a habit in their life.
Here’s a few ways, for example, to fuel your brain that I think will help you in your Etsy journey:

- Think and Grow Rich, By Napoleon hill
